It can be dangerous. I would estimate intensity of impacts goes up about


about 30% higher level from sandlot, eight grade, JV to varsity. I imagine varsity high school to college is on is probably more than that and maybe about 30% from D1 to Pros. The biggest difference in the pros, from college, is the speed. You sit on first row and watch the Carolina Panthers it is incredible. Truly a gladiator sport. Pro Bowls are not worth watching because they are all half-assing it to avoid injury. Seen many torn ACLs and broken bones close up just playing through high school. Just don't be stationary and try to hit harder than what is coming at you.
